Workmans Comp

Providing Healthcare to Texas Companies

At Maverick County Medical (MCM), our #1 goal is to get your employees back to work as quickly as possible.

We provide:

  • Each Workers’ Comp patient priority access at our location.

  • Physicians and mid-level providers and in-house ancillary services to ensure your employees the best care possible.

  • In-house services to reduce the need for multiple appointments at multiple locations.

  • MCM’s Workers’ Compensation specialists are dedicated to assess WC cases and provide necessary guidance within the scope of the TDI-WCD. This ensures the DWC Form 73s are submitted within 24 hours of injury and communication with your company’s employee representative is on-going.

  • Our Occupational Medicine Team works closely with your company’s management to ensure strong two-way communication.Employees reporting to an Emergency Room will receive priority care and next-day, first-available follow-up appointment at our location.

Sensitivity to both employer and employee needs has always been our focus when treating work related injuries. We feel communication with employers is key to ensuring that an injured worker is cared for properly and returned to productive work.

No appointment is necessary for the initial visit for an injured employee.  All work related injuries are phone verified by our staff for the company’s protection.  Written reports on each patient’s work status are always available to the employer after the employee’s visit is complete.  Continuous care of an injured employee by the same physician is a priority to attain continuity in their care.  Early return to work through “Modified-Duty” is strongly supported by our physicians. The Client Service Representative is available to provide up-to-date information to employers, and to coordinate follow-up consult appointments.

Dr. Gonzales is certified by the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians (AADEP) to perform Impairment Evaluations after Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI) has been reached in Workers' Compensation cases.
